In 2019, to commemorate Lambda Pi’s 45th anniversary at GVSU, the Legendary Lambda Pi Scholarship Endowment Fund was established with the aim of raising $450,000 over ten years to support students in their academic pursuits. As of now, the endowment has exceeded $250,000 in contributions.

The Legendary Lambda Pi Legacy Endowed Scholarship, a testament to our commitment to education and service, has the power to transform the lives of students who embody our values. These scholarship funds make a significant difference in their academic journey.

Scholarship Criteria

Special consideration will be given to candidates who meet criteria that include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Are from major urban cities with histories of socioeconomic challenges
• Are students of color
• Are the first generation in their families to attend college
• Have been raised in single-parent households
• Have one or more incarcerated parents
• Have experienced foster care or placement
